Here at Total Fitness Family Center we offer several training principles and an 8 week body fat reduction challenge. Here is a complete list of our Training Principles:
  • Warm up 10 Minutes on treadmill.    Perform 5 minutes of basic stretching.
  • First 3 workouts: Perform 1 set of 12 reps on 9 machines 1 sec. on positive repetition, 3 sec. on negative repetition.
  • 4th-12th workouts: Perform 2 sets of 12 repetitions. Rest 45 to 60 seconds between sets.
  • Second set should be performed to the point of muscle failure using proper from by 8th to 12 repetition.
  • If 12th repetitions are preformed properly on second set, then increase weight to next increment.
  • On 13th workout see a staff member to add a machine to your workout.
  • Add a machine every week after that until you are on 15 machines.
  • Stretch out briefly after each workout and go directly to bike, Stairmaster, Elliptical, or treadmill working yourself up to 25 minutes maintaining your target heart rate and cool down for 5 minutes.
